The killer looked cool and the mentioned iron death scene was pretty neat, but the movie still wasnt very good. But it had potential to be great.

As some of you might know this movie got a few "violent moments" cut off.
I dunno if anyone here saw this when it was aired on Pay Per View back in 2001 but I have read that the original version of the movie was shown there. I sure would like to see the original version that has more blood and more of that iron death scene.

at one point in the film i thought the killer was jeremy's brother or sister who was seeking revenge for what they did to him
and you found out their home ws torched to the ground with their mum an dad in it by a group of angry parents or something like that

I bet if this had been released in the 80's there wouldn't had been a lot of "negativity" towards this film.

I just don\'t see how people can call this movie \"crap\". I really don\'t see how people can even dislike it, i mean i could understand back in 2001 when it was released, Scream 3 had came out the previous year and while Scream 3 was the last of the Scream series, scream 3 seemeded to be the last of the slasher film in general, people wanted something new and when Valentine came out with its \"Guess who the killer is\" slasher plot, ofcourse it didn\'t do well because people wrre sick of who dunnit slashers and slashers in general. But this movie was very good, i just do not see how it can be called \"crap\" though, thats a little low. But we most likely will be getting a Valentine 2, i mean we got UL3,IKWUDLS 3,Hallow man 2, and a sequel to the craft is coming in 2009, so a Valentine 2 can\'t be far behind.

agreed i think its because thats when people started to get tired of slasher films. but it just built up the suspence and kept you entertained i dont see how people can't like this

hmmmm...a sequel i would see it. but i wonder how thay can start it off
