Wishmaster kicks a lot of ass. I saw this in theaters for my birthday when I was 11 and I remember it fondly. Entertaining as hell with some wild special effects and a brilliant performance by Andrew Divoff as The Djin.
Too bad the sequels are crap. Wishmaster 2 is only made watchable because of Divoff and some of the gore and Wishmaster 3 & 4 are typical direct to DVD trash. Idiot move recasting The Djin role. Divoff nailed it! |

The opening credits are so badass!! My favorite movie next to Halloween, Wishmaster was beastly!! I love this movie haha, i found it on vhs at half price books and almost had a flip out lol

I have only seen the first 2 movies, i liked second a lot more then first movie as it was more gory, not seen the other two yet!

I saw Wishmaster for the first time the other day, on demand. Silly movie that kinda personifies 90s horror, with some fun effects by Nicotero. I actually liked it. Prob give the 2nd a watch soon.

I watched it a couple days before Halloween, and it's still as cheesy as I remember. haha But I always enjoy it.
