Anyway back on topic, does anyone else think it's crazy that they were originally shooting for like a PG rating or something for the original Chainsaw?

Not at all, TCM is widely renowned for not having a drop of blood in it. It leaves everything up to your imagination, yet it is regarded by the casual horror fan as a bloodbath. I think that adds to the appeal.

True, I just think the concept of making a PG movie about a family who kills people is crazy.

Although even though I'm not a big fan of the original, I did love the way it was left to the imagination, making it seem more brutal.

Yeah really....anyways I think the thought of them thinking about rating it PG is a little odd too. Seeing how films like Clockwork Orange were rated X originally and their isn't anything terrible in them....TCM doesn't have anything that bad either, but it does leave things to the imagination still so Idk why they would even consider a PG rating.
