Default Silent Night Deadly Night: Part 2 Review

GARBAGE DAY!

While I see the thread for the first movie, what is everybody's thought on the follow up to the classic movie?

This movie had some very quotable moments and some decent additional content and homages (ex. saving a girl from being raped). With the exception of the 35 minutes of the first movie incorporated, how did you feel about the new stuff?

Part 2 is so bad it's entertaining. Eric Freeman, the hilarious kills and dialogue, garbage day etc. I prefer the first film but IMO Part 2 is a cheeseball classic.

Yeah, I thought Ricky was pretty awesome. I think in my review I was a little harsher on this movie because I had literally just watched the original, so it was so fresh in my memory that I was angered by the amount of clips from the first movie they used.

Understandable. Watching it right after can be frustrating but the cheeseball moments make up for it.

I love that the movie Ricky is watching in the theater is the original film! HA!

I know right?! At least it wasn't Billy and it was just the Santa holding up the store clerk. These guys lol

Please tell me that the others in the series don't draw as much on the first one as the second one did? I'd love to review the others in the next week or so.

3 continues the ricky story but is pretty dull IMO, 4 & 5 have nothing to do with the first 3 films and are unrelated stories that take place during the holidays and the remake/reboot tells its own story of a killer santa but has plenty of winks to the original (and garbage day gets a shout out as well).
