What an amazing book. Can't wait to read more of Dennis Lehane now.

I'm reading that on my phone right now in between The City of Dreaming Books. It isn't my favorite work from Fitzgerald. I prefer Tales From the Jazz Age.

Absolutely fantastic storytelling by King. I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me.

Default Cozy Chilling Bedtime Stories

Just finishing reading Cozy Chilling Bedtime Stories by P. Gibey. Bunch of novels there, sci-fi and horror together. bunch of stories there which will grab u right into the story, and you won't be able to stop reading nor to move out of the bed. Pretty much scary, as well as a little spicy erotic scenes, just lovely reading .

Ehhh Joyland isn't really horror, though it transcends several genres.
It's parts mystery, thriller, drama, romance with some supernatural elements thrown in.

If you enjoy King's non-horror tales, like Shawshank Redemption, The Body, at least parts of The Dark Tower series, Tales in Atlantis, for example, you should enjoy this one. It was just a really well written piece of fiction, better than most of what King has written in years.

Recently also read:

Terrific book, and it's surprising how little the Coens changed the story in the film. They mostly just tightened things up a bit, but even the best dialogue came from the novel.

The second Lehane novel I've read and loved. He is a truly amazing author. Modren hard-boiled thrillers at their best.
