It may be cheaper at Half Priced Book. I got mine along with another book on black Friday for only $1.73 but I think it's normally five bucks.

Our B&N has a huge clearance aisle I bet I can find it there or just ask our B&N but yeah I usually never pay full price for books

Famous Modern Ghost Stories - Public domain book I found free for Kindle - little did I realize by 'modern' it meant the turn of the last century. But it contains some better ghost stories than most modern authors could ever produce, full of atmosphere, mood and genuine creepiness. Authors include Ambrose Bierce, Edgar Allan Poe, Algernon Blackwood and Arthur Machen. The first half is much better than the second half, but the first few stories are mostly amazing.

Farenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury - Never read it before, and was surprised that it didn't play out as I pictured. But it remains an important warning of the dangers of censorship and mass conformity.

Sliver by Ira Levin author of Stepford Wives and Rosemary's Baby

Much like his other literary works this story had a slow build and swift climax leaving the reader unfullfilled much like the average middle aged housewife's sex life.

Pretty good book covering mainly the Silver Age, and Bronze Age of Superman comics. With lots of interviews and stories pertaining to the men who worked on the mythology at the time.

The History of Hell by Alice Turner

- First third of the book is boring as hell and tough to read, unless you like and read a lot of Greek Mythology or philosophy books. Gets better midway through though. Still have not finished it yet.

That sounds interesting as I'm into screenwriting so have to be sharp on my mythology etc. You got any recommends for similar style books if that's the thing you're into?
