I just finished 'The Curious Life of Benjamin Button', which is actually a short story part of F. Scott Fitzgerald's book "Tales From the Jazz Age", which I'm still reading. It was quite interesting albeit sad. I've never seen the movie though I may watch it now. May I just say I think Fitzgerald is a fantastic writer. I wish more modern authors wrote in the same fashion. Literature in this day and age seem provincial in comparison to the majestic works of authors in the 1800s to early 1900s. I feel as though our generation has been cheated of any true literary genius. I can almost picture writers sitting in a factory turning out cheap knock-offs in mass production for a bit of quick cash.

Does Murder Set Pieces come in book form? I'd love a pop-up version. That would be uber cool yar!

Now I understand everything. Read some books on philosophy and forget stupid novels and stories for children. I can recommend several. |

Has anyone read Daniel H. Wilson? I just finished Robopocalypse which was excellent and just started Amped which so far is even better.

I read Robopocalypse, which I found disappointing. It just seemed like there could have been so much more done with it. I look forward to what Spielberg does with the movie version. Haven't checked out Amped yet.

Just read Kubrick: Inside a film artist's maze by Thomas Allen Nelson. I've read a few books on Stanley Kubrick and have found this by far the best. There's also chapters dedicated to each of his films which is useful for future references.
