Blood and Dishonour, limited (to 666 copies) edition, published by the Satanic Sluts. I dip into it from time to time, and last night was one of those nights. Artistic, sexy, creative, bloody. Bashing pics and words, from bashing gore chicks

The Plague by Albert Camus was nothing less than awesome

Dead City by Joe McKinney- Dirt cheap juvenalia disguised as a zombie novel. Be wise and avoid it.

The Woman by Jack Ketchum & Lucky McKee

Amazing book, can't wait to see the film now.... I wonder if the character "Socket" is in the movie....

Try Boy's Life next. Reminds me a bit of The Bottoms and A Fine Dark Line by Lansdale. It has the same type of feeling as those

Heart of Darkness - Here's the best bit so you don't have to waste your time reading the book: "He cried out in a whisper at some image, at some vision - he cried out twice, a cry that was no more than a breath, "The horror! The horror!""

That's the Jospeh Conrad novel isn't it? I have a copy, but never read it. Think I will now. Thanks.

And I read two books - with my mom lol. She came over, and I showed her my lastest acquisitions: Decaying Splendours by Stephen Weeks, about the colonial accommodation in (what was) British India; and Taking Tea With Clarice Cliff: A Celebration of Her Art Deco Teaware, by Leonard Griffin.

I loved A Boys Life and loved it. The only McCammon book I read that I did'nt like was The Night Boat. I might check out Gone South Again though, I liked it ,but was'nt in the right mindset for it.
