If you have a PC capable of running it, both Fallout goty/ult. ed. are both on sale for like $6 or $7 right now.

The low price is kind of appetizing, but really I'd sooner throw it towards something new that I've yet to get around to. The new Wolfenstein looks stunning, and will likely be my next purchase whenever I get around to it.

I guess RPG shooters aren't something I'm at all big on. The ones I've played have been terrible RPG's with just an average FPS jammed into it. Yawn.
I see where youre coming from. If you hated Borderlands (which is probably the top of the genre) then you will definitely hate Destiny. You mentioned the repetitiveness which I think what is setting this one apart though.

The underlying 'kill bad guys, get loot' is there but apparently there is something like 4 planets and 2 moons to explore. Each containing completely unique experiences and rumored to be as big and/or bigger then the entirety of the Halo 4 campaign levels put together. So its basically like 6 separate games to explore. Thats what really does it for me over the actual gameplay which we already know isnt something we havent seen before. I clocked over 200 hours on my Fallout 3 gamesave with more than half of those just aimlessly wandering the wastelands for any little shack to find.

Max prestige in every CoD, max Extinction prestige in Ghosts, General rank in CoD3, every single achievement in all titles and yet the last really, really good CoD was WaW. I dont know why I still do it but I know Ill only stop once they stop making the games.

New Vegas is basically Fallout 3 in a different setting. Doesn't do much at all to separate itself from 3 which is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you're looking for.

I saw the GOTY/Ultimate/Special/Whatever edition of New Vegas at EB Games for $15 the other day. Well worth that price for the game and all of the DLC.
F:NV was a good game if youre a fan of the Fallout series but not nearly on par with Fallout 3 which was better in almost every way. I heard about countless glitches in NV but I put over 100 hours without encountering a single one. All key elements which keep the games interesting were still there.

Cant wait for a true Fallout 4 to be released on current gen. I read an interview around E3 with someone at Bethesda and while he wasnt confirming that a F4 was even in development, with what the systems can do the gameplay world would be up to 80 times bigger than Fallout 3. 80 FUCKING TIMES!

I think the new Wolfenstein is on sale right now for like $40. Good price for a fun game although there isnt any replay value once youve beat the game and the found all collectables. Its a really good reboot for a classic FPS franchise so i really cant wait to see what they pull off with the new Doom.

Battlefield Hardline delayed until 2015

Today we are announcing that Battlefield Hardline will launch in early 2015. Obviously, this is big news, so I'd like to address why we're making this change.

Back at E3, we launched a beta for Hardline — we wanted to not only show you the game, but to let you play it for yourselves. Millions of you jumped in and had a great time. As a result, the Visceral Games team learned a lot from players about what they wanted in the game. We've been pouring over the data and feedback, and have already been putting a lot of it right into the game and sharing it directly with you.

This feedback also spurred us to start thinking about other possibilities and ways we could push Hardline innovation further and make the game even better. The more we thought about these ideas, the more we knew we had to get them into the game you will all be playing. However, there was only one problem. We would need more time. Time that we didn't have if we decided to move forward with launching in just a couple of months.

We decided that the right thing to do was to take more time to ensure Hardline is the best, most innovative Battlefield experience we can give to you, our fans.

Here are a few of the things the new timing will allow us to accomplish:

1. Multiplayer Innovation: Coming out of our E3 beta, internal focus tests, and work with our community, we have received a lot of great Multiplayer thinking. We're going to be adding some new feature ideas direct from the community that will evolve the cops and criminals fantasy into a truly unique Battlefield Multiplayer experience.

2. Single Player Story Depth: In order to ensure our Single Player experience delivers on player expectations, we're spending more time polishing our core features, as well as adding a few new ones that will support a deeper "crime revenge" story experience.

3. Stability: This has been a focus for our team since day one and we're going to be using the extra time to continue to optimize the game for a stable launch. We have learned a lot from Battlefield 4, are continuing to learn from our Community Test Environment and will learn more from another Hardline beta. More time allows us to surface issues that the team can attempt to fix prior to launch.

We are doing all of this for one reason. Because we want Battlefield Hardline to be the best game it can be, and so that we can create the best environment for a smooth launch for our players. We will give you updates on our progress and we'll regularly share updates along the way via Battlefield.com/Hardline as well as the Battlefield social channels.

In addition to the ongoing development of Hardline, it's important to note that the DICE teams continue to drive Battlefield 4. We continue to explore new opportunities for improvements and we are still releasing new content, including "Dragon's Teeth," the fourth expansion pack that launches worldwide on July 29, and "Final Stand" coming later this year. We remain committed to giving you the best BF4 experience possible.

While a delay for gamers sucks because, well we wanna play, I'm all in favor of a delay for some polish and fixing of issues. I also think it's smart to come out after Call of Duty and Destiny, let those games get out and let people settle down from them. Push out your now more polished work and swoop in when gamers are looking to switch up from COD and Destiny. I want to play Hardline, this is the first Battlefield game I've looked forward to, but I'm happy with the delay to fix things.

As much of a mess Modern Warfare 2 was, that is probably my favorite of the series. I sunk something like fifty days into that shit, with about 10-15 in every other CoD. The first Black Ops was the last time I've been genuinely excited and happy for a Call of Duty. Modern Warfare 3 was boring/infuriating and while Black Ops II wasn't the worst, I had become so jaded towards the series at that point every little thing bothered me and I felt like I was playing just to play even though I was having zero fun.

Had like a 3.43 KD in Ghosts, which is the best I've ever had in any game. Still couldn't hold my attention. Don't know how you do it.

Happy it got delayed. As much as I want to play it there's just too much coming out this season (like always) for my poor wallet to handle. And if the game ends up being a better experience because of it this is a win/win for everybody.

I want nothing in return, just say something here or shoot me a PM, first come first serve.

Thanks again

Agreed on all fronts. If Destiny ends up being good, I can play that and GTAV for my online fix until Hardline drops next year.

Not a problem bro. I couldn't believe they sent me three rather then one since I didn't pre-order. Let no one speak ill of Joystiq, they are fucking tits.

Yeah, everyone was given three beta keys regardless of how they signed up for the beta. Really no fucking point in doing so and they should have just had an open beta to begin with.

I have those two extra X1 keys for whoever wants as long I know your username. Its also a whopping 12.6GB install. Post here if you want one.

Put an hour into the game and I'm freaking loving it. Everything looks great, the controls are smooth, the gunplay feels great. Although the shotgun bucks to the top of the fucking screen when I fire it.

I'll know for sure in two days, but I have a feeling this is gonna be my COD replacement.
