I don't care what you watch.... I just think it's pathetic at the amount of hate you spew on this film. Do what you do, nothing I say will ever get through to you.
I'm not sure what you want me to say. I went on a tangent back in January when this film came out when I first saw it. I haven't exactly spent a ton of time discussing it other than today. I wouldn't say my level of involvement in "hating" has been measurable. Apparently I've spent a ridiculous amount of my time hating on this movie... so much that I haven't done anything else with my time.

Honestly I just wanted to know if the commentaries were any good and nobody said anything. That's fine, I'll read some reviews elsewhere I suppose.

The adoptive parents visit was a nice add-on, better than the Bruce nonsense.

I've heard the producer/Tobe Hooper and chainsaw alumni commentaries are great but the director/ Dan Yeager commentary is dull.

I'll be listening to them soon...

Fuck it I'll have to venture to the used store in the near future. Hopefully somebody dropped it off there, I want to hear that commentary with Mosley, Hanson and Burns.

Heh. Maybe he took to wearing victims' dentures at some point?

I have listened to the John Luessenhop/Dan Yeager commentary and the Carl Mazzocone/Tobe Hooper commentary.

The first commentary is on the dull side. Lots patting each other on the back. It get a bit awkward when talking about the women in the film. A few insights here and there, but just an okay commentary at best.

The second commentary is an improvement. Mazzocone goes a little over the top in professing his love for the original film and respect for what Tobe Hooper created. Better insights into the new film and the original film, although if you are a fan you've probably heard most of the stories already. An "unrated" cut is referred to a couple times as well, which isn't on the Blu-ray/DVD. Solid, but not great commentary.

Haven't listened to the original cast commentary, which is supposedly the best of the bunch.

I haven't listened to the other 2 commentaries, but I did check out the cast commentary, and it's pretty fun. I would equate it to the cast commentary track with Bill Moseley, Caroline Williams, and Tom Savini on the TCM 2: Gruesome Edition release.

EDIT: One thing I would like to add having listened to the original cast commentary, is that Bill Moseley states that he actually wrote a treatment for the film, but the studio passed on his version. Would love to someday find out how Moseley's version differed from what we eventually got with TC3D.
