Whenever an HDRip or WebRip leaks online somebody (YIFY Torrents is good place to go) always uploads a 720p or 1080p version a few days later.

I remember watching the HDRip of V/H/S/2 and seeing YIFY upload the 1080p version a few hours later. Really pissed me off.

It was on Demand on the 8th I think.

1080p rip is imminent, there's no doubt about that.

I'm sure but I'm dying to see this. I'll rent it tonight.... I looked it up, Vol. 1 was release on demand yesterday (6th) and Vol. 2 will be available the 20th of march.

It's the 7th?

I'd buy it but I don't think it's on demand anywhere here

Well I saw Vol. 1 yesterday and loved it.... surprisingly laid back (at least in the first half) and kind of funny... but quickly descends into darkness and depression. Von Trier exhibits an impressive range of styles and techniques, which ultimately made it feel a bit scatter-shot (but you could tell this was edited down and much was missing). I have a feeling watching the entire ordeal straight through (especially the unedited version) will benefit greatly.

LOTS of interesting analogies, great dialogue, outstanding acting, beautiful framing, and overall a unique story about being an outlier of belief and practice in society. Loved it... can't wait to see Vol 2

How about that Uma Thurman scene? The film took a HARD right turn after that.

The reaction I had to that scene is very similar to that feeling you get when two family members get in a fight at Christmas dinner or something... strange at first, maybe a little bit funny, and then it gets super awkward and depressing.

Her best performance in years and it was like five minutes long.

Spoiler Below
That was definitely the turning point. Joes life went from sex addict whose only crime is doing potential harm to her own body and mind to clearly impacting others in a negative way. The scary thing is that her reaction was basically "I don't care, there are always victims on the road to satisfaction".

Things got scary after that, all of the stuff with her father in the hospital was disturbing as well. She turned from being a pure pleasure seeker to using sex as a coping mechanism. Although she seems to be denying it in the present.

Very true. Christian Slater surprised me as well too. I usually hate looking at him but he did well.

Excited to see what Vol. 2 brings. The reception has been slightly less favorable but you never know if that's a good or a bad thing when it comes to Von Trier.

Will probably watch it tomorrow or the next day.

Nymphomaniac I & II will be released on UK Blu-ray through Artificial Eye on May, 5th. I guess it will be the "normal" theatrical version.

Day one purchase.
