Default The Cemetery (2013)

Don't know much about this film other than it's an Evil Dead, Night Of The Demons, Redsin Tower type film, in which the main protagonists get possessed one by one by evil spirits and proceed to kill each other in gruesome ways. I heard that this film is insanely gory and should satisfy all of us gorehounds.

It'll be released in 2013.

Here's the trailer:

Here's an early review by one of my favorite YouTube personalities, Mr. Parka!

The director sent me a copy to review for my forum and it is amazing! The characters are very good, they work well together, also alot of old school FX were used. He took the time to make this film great. Adam Ahlbrandt is an amazing director as you can tell by his other title Cross Bearer, He truly loves the horror genre and dedicates his life to independent film. Some time next month I'll do a Q&A with him. I can post it in here if you'd like. The poster artwork is amazing. Sexy women always lace his films aswell. Ruby Larocca has a small role in this.

Here is our review..

That'd be great, this film looks like a lot of fun.

Thanks to Wonderlust I ave known about this film for quite a while and am very excited to watch it. The trailer holds a lot of promise and as well you can feel that Adam is a real horror fan and put his heart into this. Naturally as well being mostly practical effects can only mean good things for this.

I stumbled across this yesterday after the Panic Fest in KC. We got to see the Maniac remake and it was awesome.

Do these guys that did The Cemetery have any ties to the people that did Cross Bearer?

Yes, it's the same director Adam Ahlbrandt. And as you noticed he also has used the same actors. Fortunately he keeps in touch with us, is a very passionate person about his work and projects. I recommend you take a look at our reviews and this video:

I looked at both links, I didn't see what you rated them?

Both films look solid with the gore and DP work. I read about Cross Bearer in Horrorhound and it said it was originally intended to be a comedy but the tone of the film switched.

Have you seen The 8th Plague?
