Cage - Weather People (Prod. by RJD2) samples the Suspiria theme.
Doap Nixon - Behind the Music samples the Deep Red theme. Jus Allah (formerly of JMT) and Bomshot have an album titled 'Necronomicon' under the duo name of The Devil'z Rejects. It samples The Devil's Rejects, Saw and The Evil Dead. DJ Bless aka Sutter Kain who got his name from John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness has a few horror based songs. Back in the day, it was keen fun to recognize the sample an artist used in their track[s].
La Tour - People Are Still Having Sex [Hello, lover! - Evil Dead] Skinny Puppy - Who's Laughing Now? [obvious] My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult - Devil Does Drugs [and This is what the devils does - Alucarda] Skinny Puppy - The Second Opinion [That machine has got to be destroyed! - From Beyond] My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult - Mystery Babylon [Dialogue from SWV's Mondo Bizarro] MLWTKK - Lucifer's Flowers ["is god in show business, too? - Zardoz] MLWTKK - Blue Moon [indecipherable Espanol - Beyond the Valley of the Dolls] Marilyn Manson - Dogma [Burn you fucker!! - Pink Flamingos] Anyone else have fun with these?

I like to 'spot the sample' when listening to music.
I listen to a lot of electronic music, so samples are a big part of the ride. Velvet Acid Christ's stuff is a goldmine for sample spotting; using samples from Event Horizon, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Fight Club, Hellraiser, Inferno, Seven, Tenebre amongst others. Front Line Assembly's 'No Tomorrow' also uses some great samples from Evil Dead II. |

Hardstyle trance/gabba artists use a lot of horror movie samples. Rotterdam Hardcore base most of their stuff around Nightmare On Elm Street and Friday The 13th, from their tunes, album covers and parties.
I'll try and find some examples and post them. |

This EBM track had prevalent circulation in major Texas cities of the late 80s era. It's my fucking jam.
If you listen to the end - there's a sample of Zulawski's film, Possession (1981). The subway scene. Ami right? Am I right?

Deceased's album Fearless Undead Machines begins with a sample from Night of the Living Dead (check out the song "The Silent Creature"). The album is basically in homage to Romero's zombie films.
