Though, I would have expected it to be shot in glorious 70mm.

I'd say so, he didn't go CGI overload in Star Trek, I mean within reason. Films like these do benefit from it, but I don't think he is stupid enough to go all out.

I hope to God he doesn't anyway. I will be really butt hurt if there aren't creature costumes.

There's obviously CGI in Star Trek but a lot of real sets as well. This is what Star Wars needs again instead of every back drop being created on a green screen.

Agreed. The Star Trek movies were really good, even for non fans. It mixed practical with CGI extremely well, something that has been lost in Hollywood for a long time. Im sure JJ will make it look amazing but all that should really matter to anyone is the script.

lts unconfirmed at this moment, but the big rumor now is that the title of the new movie might be:

Star Wars- Episode Vll: A New Dawn

l love this title, since its a new dawn not just for the franchise but Lucasfilm as a whole. lt kind of resonates alongside "A New Hope" just like the "Revenge of the Sith" title hearkened back to "Return of the Jedi".

Like l said, don't know if its true yet, but just thinking about it has my nipples hard.

They seriously need to start confirming some shit, because l got the fever, and the only cure is some actual fucking cowbell.

It really does remind you of the original trilogy and it does herald a new direction, story, worlds etc.

I'm wondering what they are going to do in regards to villains. Will they resurrect The Emperor and Darth or go with new ones ?
