A pair of douchebags decide to terrorize a family on vacation with only few resources.
Can't believe that Haneke did such a film, which could be basically made by a film academy student too. The values are small and the acting also, but nevertheless it's a good chamber play. After a while, you know the poor family is doomed. The only thing you don't know is how it might end for them.

Stitches - Awesome experimental kills, with super gore effects and splatter, and lots of fun one liner puns fill up this awesome slasher flick, about a group of kids who unintentionally kill a clown, at a birthday party, and then have to pay the consequences years later. The kids grow up, each with strong personalities, but still have to deal with the past. The best way to describe this movie is Nightmare on Elm Street, with a clown. I'd love to see a "Stitches 2". Stitches is the best villain to come out in years. 9/10

Hatchet 2 - 8/10

Had to give this another viewing. I feel that it's really underrated, even though it's a step up from the original. I love the first movie, but I liked that the comedic level is toned down a bit in this movie, & the gore is just awesome. I think Crowley is a good villain, with potential to be better, but it as it seems, he'll never cross over to a more mainstream audience.

Bullet To The Head
After watching their respective partners die, a New Orleans hitman and a Washington D.C. detective form an alliance in order to bring down their common enemy.
This was a good nostalgic old-school buddy-action film with the usual lines they made back in the 80's. Stallone looks a bit worn out, but he still manages to kick major ass and his screen presence is yet intimidating. Though the script is pretty shallow, the action is hard-hitting and brutal, typical early Walter Hill stuff. The score was mentionworthy too, it was actually the best component in this mixture. And yeah, Sarah Shahi as his daughter is damn hawd.

The version from 1997. Didn't even know he did americanize his own film. Have to check that out as well.
