Who the fuck cares what you call? Yeah, like I have nothing better to do but lie to a bunch of people I won't ever actually meet about the amount of films I've seen.

I would remark, but it'd be a waste of one.

I remember Ebert trashing the remake when it came out but a lot of the horror critics on the web were at the same screening as him and said he was scared shitless the entire time watching it. Ebert is a fucktard. |

Only when it comes to his stance on violence in movies. He flip flops more than a politician.
Wolf Creek - Appalling! If you like this, you're sick! The Devil's Rejects - Good stuff! Kick-Ass - How dare they put an 11 year-old in the role of Hit-Girl! That's just wrong. Hanna - Beautiful movie, with a great performance by the young actress who plays the deadly Hanna. Other than that though, his critiques are usually fun to read. |

Yeah, some of his reviews are interesting, others leave me at a loss for words, because he displays many symptoms of Romnesia.

Alright, my revised list of the franchise films from top to bottom would go as follows:
1. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) 3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning 4. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 5. Texas Chainsaw 3D 6. Texas Chainsaw Massacre III 7. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation I've pretty much found elements of all the films that I like (yes, even the very terrible TNG). TCM 3D fell behind TCM 2 for me because TCM 2 has that '80's horror vibe that I love so much, & even though Dan Yeager gives a better peformance than Bill Johnson does, in this movie Leatherface is more of a character, even if those moments are highly comedic, whereas in TCM 3D he's more akin to a Jason clone. With the way TCM 3D was handled, it didn't actually give many opportunities for Leatherface to be seen as more than just a hulking killer (ala the original).
