Well the scream sequels lol but yeah they deserve on the list as well!
Sadly paranormal activity is the 2000's blair witch project so it will be remembered as well. Frailty is another good one but I don't know if it will be high up there in 20 years.

I guess one answer to this thread will be to wait and see how the B-D top 50 horror films turns out.

![]() The first Saw is actually an incredibly smart movie. I can see how the ending is hit or miss with some people, but for the most part it's a very well rounded film.

The original Saw is a game changer for the genre and kicked the door open for Hostel and the new generation of extreme style horror flicks. This one I would say can be considered classic.

Let The Right One In
Rec The Mist I think there are others that will be held in high regard but I think those 3 are among the very few that will be considered truly classic.

Sinister
Jeepers Creepers The Devil's Rejects House of the Devil Drag Me To Hell Halloween 2 Saw The Strangers Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) Despite the over-abundance of generic, terrible movies, I think these are among some that will be more positively remembered over time, & rightfully so, considering there's actual thought put behind them. The last of the bunch I mentioned will certainly be regarded as a classic due to the fact that it's one of the best remakes out there, it was insanely, hugely financially successful, & it started what initially seemed like a never-ending trend of horror remakes.

I disagree. I find H2 pretty hated by horror communities online like BD. I would seriously hope in 20 or so years from now someone who is getting into horror would prefer the original Halloween/Halloween 2 over this. Same goes for TCM. I would rather have the original any day then the remake.
