Everything has come full circle in nerd culture. Computers turned into I-Pods. Comics turned into movies. Videogames are the most popular form of entertainment. People are eating Sushi by the gallon. I mean really, does the modern nerd even exist? You'd have to be some super nerd, who's into quantum physics or some shit, for people to look at you funny nowadays.

Anyways....

Iron Man 3 looks alright. I wonder if The Avengers trickle down effect will hurt, or help it's BO. Once you've done some pure AAA grade cocaine, it's kind of hard to go back to regular old crack.

Yeah you make a good point.

And I think it'll only help. Producers can see it delivered, so I'm guessing they won't shy back from more than decent budgets. If they set it up right, which they probably will, people will want to see these "fill in" films to get a better idea of what will be going on in the next Avengers film.

With Whedon over seeing most of their projects my guess is he'll bring them all closer together in the Universe. As in, actions in an Iron-Man film, might have visible results in the next Incredible Hulk flick. Which will also glue people to see whatever they pump out next.

Marvel has no doubt had their dud's in the film industry but I can't see them doing anything they aren't positive will be well received, at least with these four characters for the mean time. But, who knows. As long as they are prepared to spend money, in order to make money.

I think this looks FANTASTIC! The Dark Avengers, Iron Patriot, The Mandarin...I really hope this holds up to it's 'expectations', we can only hope. I've watched the trailer near a million times and it only gets better each time I watch it. March 3rd can't come too soon.
