I meant to pick up Army of Shadows during last month's B'n'N sale. Melville's batting a thousand with me (Le Samurai/Cercle Rouge) and Criterion's done a great job with both releases.

I'm really looking forward to On the Waterfront's upcoming release. It's in my top five all time favorites and deserves nothing but the best Criterion has to offer.

Yeah man, Melville is becoming one of my favorite directors of all time after going through his films, and I've only seen Le Samourai, Le Cercle Rouge and Army of Shadows so far. All three are amazing films.

Le Doulos is next on the list, because QT said that it was his favorite script of all time, which is very intriguing.

Is there a release date yet for Eraserhead? They've had it on their Hulu channel for a while now but they haven't put out the DVD or Blu-ray...
