Surprisingly solid film!!!!!

Good acting, amazing gore/visuals... too bad the overall plot was kind of stupid. Gotta check it out horror fans!

7.5/10

I just finished watching it, I thought was pretty good, just an hour and 20 minutes to tell a dark tale and remarkable at times. Besides the visual part is deliciously disturbing.

I saw it today, after seeing it recommended in another thread, and I thought it was pretty solid.

The acting by the main teen actress and by Traci Lords (especially at the end) were very solid. The visual imagery was both disturbing and intriguing.

The movie reminded me of May, even though I think May is the superior flick.

I found it rather hard to formulate an opinion on this. Though I didn't think it was amazing, it's been stuck in my head since I watched it. It is very unique and just when you think you know how the main character is thinking and feeling, she switched it up in the next scene and totally throws you. Definitely a must watch simply for it's strangeness.

I strongly disagree. One of the best horror films from 2012.

I should pick up the blu-ray, some awesome imagery that would look great in shiny HD.

The movie was boring as fuck. The characters were lame as hell.

Sinister, now that was one of the best horror movies of 2012. And one of the best in years.
