RUSH FINALLY TO BE INDUCTED INTO ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME

Finally they're being recognized in the Hall of Fame!

I saw this and it made me super happy so I thought I'd bring this thread back to life.

Anybody see Rush on their latest tour? Anybody really love their new album Clockwork Angels? I think its pretty great.

I absolutely fucking love this band, and have been a fan since the Roll the Bones days. I even like their goofy mid-to-late 80s era with the overuse of synths and Geddy's ridiculous/awesome mullet.

People rarely list Vapor Trails as a favorite, but I think it's a great album. It took some time to grow on me, mainly because of the noisy production and the fact that it just wasn't the kind of thing I was expecting from them at the time, but after three or four listens, the songs finally clicked. For me, "Peaceable Kingdom" and "Secret Touch" are the highlights of that record.
