What I'm saying is; Alfred told Bruce, in the "Bat Cave", he imagined Bruce with a woman, happy. He never said anything to Bruce, and Bruce never said anything to him. So at the end we see Bruce, happy, and with a woman (Kyle).

Auto-pilot.

Enough of this dream sequence nonsense.
Thank you! He wasn't imagining anything. The first scene where Alfred was across from Bruce and unidentified woman, THAT was him imagining.

You can't tease the fans like that...that would've comepletely thrown off the story line.

Not necessarily, you let out all the criminals, hell even Scarecrow who really didn't fit in with the story line.Would have been just a little wink, most people obviously knew he wasn't going to be able to get him into the flick any other way

If you remember, Scarecrow wasn't the actual villain in BB. He pretty much led the underworld of Gotham, as he's basically doing in TDK and TDKR. I just don't think The Joker would've fit in this movie at all. But that could be just me. haha

True but he was a villain, and not just a run of the mill criminal. It could just me to thinking a little nod to the joker would have been cool.I just feel he was such a huge character and not to mention him whatsoever was odd.

Im real curious where they go next when another Batman does get made,I almost can't wait even though it'll be tough to top Nolans.

Everybody's focus was on the Batman. He became the villain the moment the movie ended when he took the blame for Dent's death.

I highly doubt we'll get another Batman film any time soon. Nolan did such a good job, and basically covered the major plot points from the comics, so I can't see another being made for some time.

A nod would have just been a tease and Nolan didn't want that. He felt it was best to move the story on without any mention of The Joker, out of respect for Ledger.

I read an article where it said Joker wouldnt be mentioned at all. If Heath had not died then he was going to be in it, but shit happens. I also read something where Nolan was asked if Blake was going to become Robin like so many people think and he said that the Robin name was just a homage and if he returned to the series he had something else in mind. If you are a fan of the comics then you know after Bane fucked Batman up he had Azriel to take his place so Im wondering if that could be the direction he would go in.

On a side note I think given how this series stands thus far I think it is a bad time for the Justice League movie.

I think its a cop out they didn't mention Ledge because of "respect".

It wouldn't have tarnished the public's viewpoint on him if they said "Joker is locked up at so-and-so prison" or something else. I hated how they acted like the second film never happened. I don't understand how ignoring Ledger's most memorable character like he never existed is respectful, I find it negligent.

How the hell did they act like the second film never happened? Did you actually watch the movie?

Just because The Joker isn't mentioned doesn't mean the second film was ignored.

You're just bitching for the sake of bitching now.
