Oh Im not talking about actual blurays, Im talking about all the added ullshit lie Vader saying No and that sort of thing. Sorry I didnt make myself too clear. Bluerays are great!

Yeah, it was altered the least but the changes they did make I think worked very well. Everything gelled nicely.

It was because of the prequels why it took me so long to watch the original trilogy again. The first time I did I was too young to remember much of them. Besides a few key parts.

I was very happy when I read about this elsewhere yesterday. TESB is definitely the best SW film and ROTJ is much better than the first two prequels and is on a par with the third IMO.

The more I read about this upcoming trilogy the more excited I am about it. Everthing so far has been a positive step forward for the franchise. This has the potential to be so much better than all of the prequels.

Edit: After his excellent work on 'X-Men: First Class', Simon Kinberg feels me with confidence as well.

I don't think so. It seems Lucas felt that audiences had become much dumber since 1980. He has to show everything, leaving no subtlety or mystery.

They had to show more of the snow creature, they had to show Vader leaving Cloud City and going to his starship, they had to show the Millenium Falcon going through Cloud City in a shameless cgi sequence..

This was the best warning sign of what was to come. Once you show everything, you don't allow the audience to use their imagination. You become bogged down in pretty cgi, which gets boring.

I love the Star Wars movies, but I think these films have run their course. Return of The Jedi was a perfect ending.
