me an my parents use to always watch this movie together, always enjoyed it,find it's a pretty good movie, never saw the sequal to it though haha.

"Lake Placid".....Fun B movie with some good bloody gore, thrills, and comedy. Betty White is a hoot to watch and my favorite. Bridget Fonda is good and Bill Pullman is ok. He seems to be a bit out of sorts as the male lead. I hated Oliver Platt and his character, and thought Brendan Gleeson is terrific. The special effects are actually good and directing by Steve Miner is solid.

lake placid is a perfect movie: hilarious, great performances, very effective visuals, betty white. it's really awesome. i could watch it a million times till sundown, i never get tired of it.
