Default Halloween 2 and 3 Collectors Editions

Both films have been released from Shout Factory on dvd and blu ray. I just watched Halloween 2(dvd) and the transfer is good. The sound for the music is terrifically enhanced, but I think that took away from the dialogue, which is very low or almost whispered in many places. The 2001 release from Universal has perfect sound for the dialogue. Anyways, thats the only little thing that is defective in the new transfer. Other than that, all the extra features are wonderful, especially the new documentary/interviews on the film.

Yeah Amazon has it pulled the last time I looked due to complaints about the film. Hadn't read any specific complaint(s) until now so that must be what others have had issues with as well. If you didn't get it from Amazon you might want to email Shout Factory directly about the matter and see if they are going to fix the issue and possibly do a trade program so you can get the corrected version. Good luck and thanks for the heads up. I was waiting for them to be on sale, but until I read different I will hold off on picking these up(or at least 2).

I know/read that the 30th anniversary edition had problems and was discontinued and pulled from shelves. So I didnt think this new release would have them. I mean its only a few little glitches in the sound of the dialogue, but it is noticeable.

Might have to pick up the second. I do remember liking it more than the original, I've only watched it once though. The overall pacing I thought was just better. And Loomis gets more screen time and I love Pleasence. Would love to get a good blu of it.

Haven't seen 3 but I've always wanted to.

The t.v cut of Part 2 has great sound both in the music score and dialogue. So its just the newly enhanced theatrical version that has a few sound glitches. For those who bought Part 3 Collectors Edition, is there any glitches in the format?
