Removing Stalker Threads/Posts.

Instead of placing 'stalker' threads into the 'Locked Threads' area shouldn't they be deleted instead?

I am sure the person targeted doesn't need to come here and while going through on their visit see a thread titled to them, which they know is an attack.

I had no idea you were so sensitive to their feelings (many times they're about me). Delete them I shall!

Is it so much more of a process to delete threads? Locked threads are frustrating. It's sometimes like you got to the party late and it already ended. or It's your humiliation perma-carved into the board that you gotta live with(assuming you were the nitwit to have a thread locked).

I still firmly stand on the belief that descriptions of daily BMs and what you are eating [whateverland] are equally intriguing and vital [latter more so].

It actually takes the same amount of time, whether you want to lock it or delete it. We tend to just lock them, so the other mods can see what happened when they see the reported post. Also, if there's some ongoing conflict, other mods can keep up rather than getting rid of the evidence.

But yeah, the humiliating threads can go in the void.
