The Langoliers (1995) - BLOODY-DISGUSTING

I know this movie doesn't have a lot of fans, but I seriously think it's underrated. Although it's extremely long (being a mini-series) and has many slow spots, it does have a creepy atmosphere and a fairly good cast. The acting goes from bad to over the top, but I enjoyed the performances (Bronson Pinchot and David Morse are great). The plot is also fairly original.... based on time travel. And there's some psychic stuff in there as well. It's like an episode of Twilight Zone. I have to say I enjoy this quite a bit.

(Trailer is kind of crappy, though)

Never seen the movie or read the book, but bought the book a few days ago and gonna read it soon

I haven't read the book but I heard that the mini-series stays very close to the book. In fact the book being a short story and the mini-series being around 3 hours in length, it would be hard for them not to include most of everything in the book.

The book/short story/novella was great.

One of my favorite Stephen King stories.

Hahaha this movie is stupidly funny. Also spoiler the monsters are meatballs with chainsaw teeth.

painfully terrible piece of shit film. may as well have had uwe boll behind the cameras for this steamer.
