lol I was the same way! It really is all about the soil and depending on your location?
We have hundreds of their seeds frozen and we plant them every year! So far we have had great results with just the regular maintenance.
I usually killed everything until my brother showed me a few tricks he worked at a hothouse/suburban lawn and garden for a couple of years.
Now I have 3 types of Venus Fly Traps,Scorpion peppers and all that I mentioned earlier growing and I live in Missouri where the weather is ever so freaking changing
