I think it looks great, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it brand new or not. Now Gears of War 3 is a different story. I've already pre-ordered my copy of GOW3. It's such a relief to know that even if somethign drastic happened and no copies of the game could be found anywhere, I'm guaranteed to have one no matter what. Ease of mind. Ease of mind.

THe other big release I was waiting on was Shadows of the Damned back in July. Finished it already. Pretty fun game. Had a great deal of fun with it and the graphics are jaw dropping. Music is great as well.

I'm also anticipating Never Dead, although Im not sure what the exact release date for that one is.

I'm a big Gears of War geek. Can't wait til September. Love the game. You should definitely beat it and then go get the second one and beat it too, while you're at it. I think the only other one that I have thats on your list is Dead Rising.

Yeah the katana is my favorite melee weapon. That thing will slice and dice anything. Might take a few stabs on the tank, though.
Indeed, the second one is more challenging. But I think that might be why I like it more than the first. I've never played it on PC, although I have a PC. The only PC game I've got is Duke Nukem Forever. And my graphics card isn't great enough to play it well enough so...I also have a shit load of ROMs that I play sometimes. Other than that, I usually do all my gaming on my 360.
