You have a good taste when it comes to movies and music. Especially Dir en grey

Love the Tokyo Gore Police pic. I got the pleasure of meeting Eihi and Nishmura and got them to sign a "TGP" movie poster

Germany can be very mean towards the splatter fans by cutting out alot of that delicious gore, be it on TV or with DVD releases. A gore film without the trademark blood and guts is like a porno without sex scenes. Nudity wise they're a bit more relaxed.

I hope they don't go through with the plan to remake Martyrs
Ichi the Killer has some cool moments. Avoid the dubbed version; it was hard for me to take the actors seriously with their "britishy" accents.

Tell me about it. On my next birthday I won't be a teenager any more. You're unfortunately only young once

I've never been to Kiel before. I live away down in the south of Germany. I've still got loads of German towns/cities to explore and of course ones world-wide. Do you live in a Norwegian city, town, village or hamlet??

    I didn't know Martyrs was a comedy
How is Norway when it comes to cutting out gory/nudity/violent scenes in movies?

Since I've been living in Germany time appears to move faster. I'm also glad the Christmas holidays treated you nicely.

I'll have to rewatch Martyrs some time soon. I'll probably enjoy it more now because I've developed a much stronger liking for disturbing movies since my premier viewing. Back then I was only into the "blood and guts" aspect of horror films. What did your friend think of Martyrs? Impressed? Disgusted?

Piranha 3D is a complete different animal compared to the original in my opinion. Yeah, you should definitely give it a chance.

I wish you a belated Happy New Year. Hopefully 2011 will be kind to you and you'll overcome the hurdles that stand in your way to reaching success. Another Christmas over for another year. It's always amazes me how quickly it comes and goes. Did you have a lovely Christmas like myself?

Yesterday I watched Piranha 3D and Creepshow. The first being filled with booze, blood and boobies (no complaints there). The latter was just pure cheesy 80s fun.

    Back to school on Monday
