It seems original projects are hard to get off the ground, but it's much appreciated by horror fans. The remake thing has seemingly been burned out anyway.

I don't even know if they still do it, but my local mall had a big kiosk setup, where you could get your gifts wrapped. I took full of advantage of that opportunity. Too bad it's too expensive to shop there these days.

I haven't written Zombie completely off just yet. He just needs to find the write material and perhaps it will all come together for him. While I didn't like H1KC, The Devil's Rejects was a very solid effort. That's why it was disappointing to read that he was going to remake The Blob, as it was another remake. Lords of Salem sounds more intriguing.

Yeah, it's been a running joke for several years now. I did get some stuff wrapped at a mall once, and fooled everyone.

I know the feeling. Hopefully it's nothing to major. I know my parents bicker over stupid crap, and eventually it gets forgotten.

I might have give H2 a rent for the commentary. I think he's got talent, but was just the wrong fit for the Halloween series. I'd like to see him direct someone else's script.

Yeah, I'm terrible at wrapping. I don't know why either, seems like it should be easy. Everyone can tell which ones I wrapped right away.

That sucks, especially with around the holidays. Hopefully they will be able to put their problems aside, at least for the time being.

It would be interesting to hear what he thinks about the reaction his film has gotten. I was tempted buy/rent the DVD to hear the commentary as his are usually pretty interesting, regardless or what you thought of the film.

Everyone likes different stuff. There is stuff I love that others think is crap. It's just how it is, some just can't seem to wrap their mind around that.

Yeah, I'm definitely glad to be done. Now I just have to wrap them. No easy feat for me.

I'm glad you're going to participate. A few members have decided to jump in everything Halloween 2 related and bash fans of it. I don't get it, but hopefully that's the end of it. Shame the thread had to end the way it did. I won't worry about what those guys say. Everyone has different tastes and they were just trying to rattle the cages.

Doin' alright. I'm done as well. Amazon's Black Friday week helped out quite a bit. Spent more than I intended to, but I got some awesome deals.

I wouldn't worry about those guys in that thread. It's pretty amazing to see how divided one film can make people. I mean, everyone here is at the very least a horror movie fan. There's not much middle ground on it either. It really is a love it or hate it film. And when groups are formed that easily, it makes it easy to take shots at each other. Which, unfortunately, is what the thread became. Rob Zombie's Halloween 2, the most controversial movie of all-time? Crazy, but looks like it's not too far off.

I can understand if you don't wan to be in the draft, but I'd just ask to reconsider it. I should be putting some stuff up in a week or two, to get it started. The All-Genre should be much less drama filled, and perhaps a little looser.
