hey dude! Its been a while. I'm guessing some things came up that we didn't have any watch parties (or I've just been far too busy to be able to catch up with things... and if that's the case, I'm sorry!).

How have things been? Seen any good movies recently?

It's funny how someone can make so many great films, and then turn out such mediocrity. Giallo sounds terrible, and I'm not sure I want to even check it out. Mother of Tears was also just mediocre. Almost as if he doesn't care.

I'll have to track down a decent version of Sleepless. I liked it, but the US version is rubbish.

Watched Suspiria and Phenomena so far, and enjoyed both quite a bit. I have Tenebrae and perhaps Inferno on tap for today. Wish there was decent release of Sleepless as the one out now is rubbish. Haven't checked out Giallo yet, as I don't think I've read one good review. And to be fair, it seems like it was out of his hands in post-production.

Definitely. While I like some of newer stuff (Card Player, Sleepless) it doesn't hold a candle to the older stuff.
