I've been in a tornado before. May 10th 2003, I remember standing in the family room with my father holding my dog watching the news because the tornado watch alerts were all over the place. Then suddenly it seemed like it was eerily quiet. Jason (ex) pauses talking to Dad and looks up at me and says, "Tornado" with a straight face. Dad and I kinda look at him and there was a response like, "Yea J, there's a tornado warning." "No" he says, "TORNADO!" It was right by us and he felt the effect of the changes in pressure before the rest of us. Sirens go off, I grab my mother, the cat, the dog, and we all go to the stairwell. 1 minute goes by, it felt like 1 hour. We emerge okay, minor damage to the house, but half of the one across the street is gone, 2 down on the same side only had a stairwell. (Fortunately, the family living there was gone.) 23+ injuries, but no fatalities. I've gone on and on about this.

But to come full circle, I'm glad you and your loved ones are okay.
