Likewise bro. So many people around me are completely content with their lives and situations with no intentions of bettering themselves. Makes me so sad to see smart, talented people just piss away their ambitions for superficial nonsense. I know people who are more concerned with how many likes their new $200 pair of shoes gets on Facebook than their future. Depressing.

Very true. I just want to make sure that I can support myself and my eventual family with a solid plan B. Believe it or not my reputation as a leech on here isn't something I want to uphold

Almost did creative writing, but I see all these directors and writers talking about how just watching and studying as much of film as you can is the important part so I've been trying to do that as much as possible.

And if da dream don't work out... least I got a solid backup plan.

Yeah, that does sound like it wouldn't be the best major to go for if you want a solid career path. Glad it's helped you so much tho

But a lot of my friends are art students so I'm not judging

If I may ask, is that what you do for work? Very curious in what an actual career in anthropology entails. Certainly sounds cool.

Panic Attack off of Octavarium is one of my favorite songs. That song is like the perfect amount of heavy.

    Haven't heard the other one.

Could be an acquired taste thing. I feel like if I listen to enough I'll eventually start to love it. Could be the right song/album like it was for me with rap too.

Just wanna stay open minded and give as much as I can a chance.
