So like a super advanced form of Social Studies pretty much? I'm reading this wiki page and I still don't get it

If I may ask, is that what you do for work? Very curious in what an actual career in anthropology entails. Certainly sounds cool.

Man, that song would be perfect if it wasn't for the growling shit at the beginning... I need to be able to understand what the dude's saying

    Rest is awesome

Panic Attack off of Octavarium is one of my favorite songs. That song is like the perfect amount of heavy.

    Haven't heard the other one.

Could be an acquired taste thing. I feel like if I listen to enough I'll eventually start to love it. Could be the right song/album like it was for me with rap too.

Just wanna stay open minded and give as much as I can a chance.

I've tried Gojira and they don't work for me... yet. Still too heavy and noisy for me. What I love about Pelagial is that it sounds so beautiful. Like it transcends just guitars and drums working in unison to make sound. Almost as if the shit was sent down from a higher power or something.

Will try some Opeth. Their artwork is dope.

Those will go on my listen list!

Also, you got anything that sounds like The Ocean's Pelagial? I found this random band on Bandcamp that has a similar sound but I can't find anything else like it... the sort of spacey, "meditation" metal sounds so amazing at this time of the year.
