About Me: My name is Colton Narron and, I live in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. I have beem a horror fan for a couple of months now and, my goal for 2008 is to go see every horror movie that comes to my theatre. So far I have been successful in that goal. Alot of you people will hate me for this but I love horror remakes!!!! My fav remakes are: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, House Of Wax, The Amytiville Horror, The Hills Have Eyes, When A Stranger Calls, Halloween, Pulse, 1 Missed Call, The Hills Have Eyes 2 and, Black x-mas. There are still many remakes I want 2 see! I am mostly excited for A nightmare on elm st. and friday the 13th remakes right now. My fav actresses in a horror movie so far have been Jessica Beil(the Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Elisha Cuthbert(house Of Wax and Captivity) and, Mary Elizabeth Winstead(black X-mas, The Ring 2, Final Destination 3) Brittany Snow(Prom Night) Jessica Stroup(The Hills Have Eyes 2, Prom Night) and, Rachel Nichpls(P2) also Shannyn Sossamon(1 missed call),

Okay. Well I don't ever have a certain day or time that I choose to logon I just do whenever I feel like it so I guess whenever we catch eachother on then we can chat or however if you have MSN Messenger let me know and we can add each other on there. But to let you know I have my computer on all the time and I leave Messenger up so if you ever messaged me and I don't reply then I am not at the computer at that time. I have a few fullscreen dvd's but it's either tv movies or theatrical movies that were shot in fullscreen but for every other movie they are widescreen. My dad is crazy about widescreen..he thinks it cuts off the movie. I have a portable dvd player and its got a 16:9 widescreen monitor and when I watch 1:85.1 movies that fill up the screen because of it being 16:9 my dad thinks its fullscreen but when you put in a 2:35.1 movie he thinks it is widescreen and says it cuts the picture off. He just doesnt know anything about widescreen and it would be extremly hard to explain and get him into it. LOL!
That depends entirely on how rare or what company releases them. I've gotten stuff as low as one penny, used. You can get new stuff, used stuff, all that. It works like eBay, except you're not bidding, what ever price you see is what you pay, plus S&H.
Just go there and search for some stuff. You can almost always find what you want for under $10, if you don't mind used stuff(just don't buy from sellers who have less than 95% positive ratings, just to be safe). You can read product descriptions, features, everything.
AWESOME! I don't ever buy a movie on DVD in Fullscreen I just wait until there is a Widescreen version available and if that is years and years then I just wait..lol! My family loves fullscreen but I can't stand it. It cuts up the picture and it's not the way the studio envisioned it.
Ugh, Probably will be! If it is one thing I can't stand about DVD it's those stupid 2 sided discs! If they want widescreen and fullscreen versions of the film or something else like features they need to make it 2 discs. I can't stand discs that have no picture or thats 2 sided.
Thats a good plan that you've got goin' on with seeing every horror movie that comes to theaters. I would too but I haven't got the money to do it at this time but might one day. Oh yes Prom Night Unrated is gonna be soooo awesome..can't hardly wait! What do you think of the DVD cover? I like the red color of it. I don't like the band that they put at top saying 'Unrated Version' that sounds so cheap and unprofessional especially coming from a big movie company. You wouldn't expect that but yeah it'll be awesome to have an unrated version. The song Santa Baby works so well in P2! I got that song on CD by LeAnn Rimes and everytime I hear it, it always makes me think of P2..lol!
No, I didn't see Strangers but will probably rent it when it comes out to DVD. It looked good from the clips i've seen. I seen Prom Night at the drive-in theater where my dad works and it is freakin' awesome! I so can't wait to get the DVD!! I got the movie poster that came from the movie company. My dad shows movies there so thats how I'm able to get some posters of the movies. Almost all the posters I have are very advanced. One Missed call seems freaky..will have to check that one out.
Oooh Dark Water is a really great remake..love it! P2 is freakin' awesome! I can't get enough of that movie. Your right both Rachel and Wes are very very great actors. I haven't seen them in anything else but want to now after expearancing P2. I agree the Christmas music in the movie is so freaky espcially at the end on the credits with the Elvis song playing. For some reason Christmas and horror mix really really well together. I hear ya about people not knowing something good especially when it bites them in the ass. Movies that get bad reviews that I like alot just frustrates me because they are so quick to judge without giving the movie a chance.

Most of the ones that aren't in the "for-trade" section, I like. There are just way too many to list off. My favorites are 80's slashers though.
