General: Writing drinking girls preparing for the zombie holocaust.
Music: Tom Waits. Indie rock classical some punk some metal whatever. I really just listen to podcasts these days...Night of the Living Podcast (represent) Nobody Likes Onions Hometown Tales Anything Ghost Tracks Up the Tree Pseudopod King Bonk's Campfire Haunted New Jersey the World War Z Podcast etc.
Movies: The Ring (American sorry) Silent Hill The Host Dagon Lady Vengeance Dead Alive Return of the Living Dead 28 Days Later Shaun of the Dead Dawn of the Dead (both) Night of the Living Dead Monster Squad The Shining Slither House of 1 000 Corpses Tim Burtons David Lynch and Takashi Mike. I would kill my whole family to see HP Lovecraft on the big screen and even then it must be a GOOD adaptation. Something somehow non-existant though every horror writer adores HPL. So I'm pretty excited about Del Toro's At the Mountains of Madness. And Project Cloverfield. If that's what it's going to be about. Please Cthulhu please. And you know what? I liked the Halloween remake. And you know what else? I hated the origional. So there. You can hate me now.
Television: The Office Dead Like Me Adult Swim etc
Books: Thomas Ligotti H.P. Lovecraft Edgar Allan Poe. Apart from them Arthur Machen Nathaniel Hawthorne H.H. Munro Mark Z. Danielwski Jack Kerouac Max Brooks Charles Bukowski did I mention Thomas Ligotti? Why does no one know of this god of modern horror literature? Seriously check him out. I'm obsessed with House of Leaves and loving me some Max Brooks. Currently stuck on Brian Keane. Even if his zombies talk. Eh what are you gonna do?

Ahh my first friend too. And yes Dead Alive is great, but then again I like most zombie movies...even the really cheesy ones!
