‘Grindhouse’ Special Edition Finally Announced for Blu-ray
At last! Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’ B-movie double feature will finally be re-released in a special edition Blu-ray set this October! High Def Digest reports that in an early announcement to retailers, Vivendi is working on Grindhouse: Special Edition for a Blu-ray release on October 5. Both ‘Planet Terror’ and ‘Death Proof’ have already been released on home video separately (without the awesome faux trailers), much to the dismay of the films’ fans. Specs and supplements haven’t been confirmed yet (although Edgar Wright confirmed new commentary tracks), but suggested list price for the 2-disc Blu-ray set is only $19.97.
