Morgan Creek's Dream House isn't going to be able to contain all these egos. The production company has added Rachel Weisz (The Lovely Bones, The Mummy) to the cast alongside Daniel Craig (Quantum of Solace, Casino Royale, The Invasion) and Naomi Watts (The Ring, King Kong) in the thriller Universal Pictures will distribute. Jim Sheridan is directing from a David Loucka script. Ah, nothing like a ridiculous rumor to end the night. Even if proven true, I can't help by grit my teeth together in distain. Cinema Blend is reporting that Universal Pictures may be planning a remake of the 1975 Spielberg classic Jaws, a rumor that's appeared pretty much every year since the beginning of the internet. The only thing that makes me think it's more likely is the newly found love for 3-D. Jaws in 3-D? How can you say no to that? Jaws in 3-D starring Tracy Morgan? That's how. Cinema Blend's "insider says Tracy Morgan was at one point being considered for the part of Matt Hooper, previously played by Richard Dreyfuss." It's not a matter of IF they'll remake Jaws, it's only a matter of WHEN. At least do it right. Thank God this is a rumor. ...Read More

Below you can read the offiical release sent to us with information on how YOU can demand it. ...Read More

I didn't really have a pulse on Simon (The Living and the Dead) Rumley's forthcoming genre-blender Red White & Blue until now. I'm a pretty big fan of Mr. Rumley, and I dig the cast (Noah Taylor, Amanda Fuller, Marc Senter), but until now all we had was the following brief synopsis: "The gruesome shadow side of the kindness of strangers. Those of you living in Austin, TX can catch the premiere at the SXSW Film Festival this March. You're freakin' lucky. ...Read More

With the window for DVD/Blu-ray releases shrinking exponentially (it's about to go into negative territory), talk of extra features comes up more and more often at junkets for big studio releases.
