Happy Death Day

Post by Glass Eater » Mon Aug 14, 2017 10:11 pm

If Friday the 13th and GroundHog day had a baby...

Saw the trailer today during my Annabelle showing. Originally I was rolling my eyes during the first minute not fully aware of what it was, but once the trailer was finished I was sold. Looks super fun

It does look good.

Harold Ramis and Wes Craven are playing chess and laughing.

Looks pretty neat.

Hope it works out, Ground Hog Day is a pretty cool movie, and good that not everyone uses it, but nor should it never be used again cause it's "just too unique"

I saw the trailer for this before IT, I like the concept and think it looks promising! I'll check it out.

I'm actually pretty excited for this. Ripping off Groundhog Day has already been done a million times, but I like the idea of centering a slasher movie around the idea.

What I hope to see:
-Lots of creative kills that occur when she tries to escape and hide and defend herself in different ways.
-A good twist for revealing who the killer is. I'm guessing itll probably be someone close to her, maybe even the guys she wakes up next to every day. Hopefully it is someone with a non-forced motivation for wanting to kill her.
-A fun atmosphere. This doesnt need to be a complex movie. I just want something fun and creative.

I also think this one looks good. It's nice to have a cheesy, fun horror movie every once in a while.

I'm curious about the final movie.
The trailer looks like a mix from groundhog day and chucky :D
