Sundance ’10 REVIEW: ‘Splice’ Has Ryan Daley Screaming ‘OMFG!’

Published

A film making the news a lot the last few days is Vincenzo Natali’s (Cube) hotly anticipated Splice, which appears to be getting a wide range of reviews — probably because of the shocking finale. Ryan Daley’s thoughts? Here’s a tease: “All the way up until the end. Oh, that ending. It’s hard to believe the script made it past Brody and Polley’s agents. Maybe nobody bothered to read the last 20 pages. I don’t know. But I do know that in the annals of bad movie history, the batshit crazy, Jeepers-Creepers-via-Flowers-in-the-Attic ending of Splice will always be remembered. If not fondly.” Click the title for the full review or here for all of our ongoing Sundance coverage.
