Hi everybody,

This is my first post here!

I enjoy both classics and newer movies, but, I don't like movies that rely too much on jump scares at the expense of tension buildup. I do really enjoy the James Wan movies.

Scariest movies to me are Carrie, Salem's Lot, The Thing.

Salem's Lot scared the crap out of me too. I don't know if it's because I was too young to watch it, or cause it's just plain scary. Need to see it again.

Great films in all eras, classic horror is obv better by volume with all the movements that have gone on through history compared to the very sterilized, controlled studio system we have now. Then we you have all these film nerds making homage flicks...
