Update: First Cities Announced for Adam Green’s ‘Frozen’
Update: Click here for the first batch of theater listings! Get ready for February 5th when Adam Green’s awesome chiller Frozen (review) opens in limited theaters across the country. Green announced via Facebook the first cities that will host the Sundance selection. “I just saw an update on theaters for FROZEN next weekend. Theaters are still being added daily- but right now it’s got MULTIPLE screens and areas within Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Denver, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Chicago. Start spreading the word and making your plans for next Friday and Saturday night! If you guys support it, it will come to a theater near you a week or so later.” It will also open in MANY screens in and around Toronto as well. Depending on how well it does, the flick could expand into more theater in the following weeks.

‘Something in the Water’ – Next Shark Attack Horror Movie Swims Home in May [Trailer]
Samuel Goldwyn Films is bringing shark attack movie Something in the Water to select theaters and VOD outlets at home on May 3, Bloody Disgusting has learned this week.
In the upcoming aquatic horror movie, “An idyllic destination wedding turns into a battle for survival. The film follows Meg (Hiftu Quasem, Ten Percent), who tentatively attends the wedding of old friend Lizzie (Lauren Lyle, Outlander) in the Caribbean along with fellow pals Cam (Nicole Rieko Setsuko, Eavesdropping) and Ruth (Ellouise Shakespeare-Hart, One Four Three), plus her former partner Kayla (Natalie Mitson, The Larkins) who she parted ways with after both survived a deeply traumatic event.”
Naturally, the wedding party is invaded by hungry sharks and all hell breaks loose.
You can watch the official trailer for Something in the Water below. The shark attack horror film is directed by Hayley Easton Street, featuring a screenplay written by Cat Clarke.
