Paxton. Romero. Nakajima. And now Hooper. :(

Not a good year for the icons, all things considered.
I lost my mom this year so I'm more numb than I would be otherwise. But I hear you. Carpenter seems to be the last man standing and for me, the most impactful of the lot. His films are more of a part of my life than any other filmmaker.
I'm sorry for your loss.

Of all the great horror directors, Carpenter's my favorite. It's gonna be awful when he's gone. The end of an era.
Carpenter will devastate me when he's gone. Without a doubt my favorite director of all time.

He's not doing himself any favors with his lifestyle either. Living it to the fullest at least.

Tobe Hooper's death hit me pretty hard so I'm watching the trio of flicks he did for the Cannon Group.

I was babysitting my little brother today and he had me play a game on his iPad called Scribblenauts. Turns out, you can spawn Elder Gods into the game.

My daughter loves this super weird plant game that she downloaded on my tablet. I guess it's fun if you're either 3 years old or really high.
