The Blood Flows in New Hi-Res ‘Final Destination’ Pics

Kudos to Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema who have opted to share with readers some violent images, as opposed to the cast and crew running around the set with their heads cut off. Beyond the break you can take a look at a handful of hi-res stills from The Final Destination, which arrives in theaters August 28th. The 3-D sequel in the popular franchise will be going toe-to-toe with Rob Zombie’s Halloween II, an idiotic idea that’s sure to split the horror audiences over the weekend. No matter who wins, we lose. Thanks guys.

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil.
