‘El Superbeasto’ Meets Michael Myers
Arriving on DVD September 22 from Anchor Bay Entertainment is Rob Zombie Presents: The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, the 2-D animated comedy, based on the Spookshow International comic book “The Haunted World of El Superbeasto” created by Zombie. Below you’ll find a new image from the animated pic that displays El Superbeasto hitting classic horror icon Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise. Featuring the voices of Paul Giamatti, Tom Papa, Sheri Moon Zombie, Brian Posehn, Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, Danny Trejo, Geoffrey Lewis and Tom Kenny, the pic follows the exploits of a washed-up Mexican wrestler, El Superbeasto, in the mythic world of Monsterland. Rob Zombie’s Halloween II hits theaters August 28.

‘The Exorcism’ – Official Poster for Russell Crowe Horror Movie Promises the Trailer Tomorrow
As we told you earlier this week, Russell Crowe (The Pope’s Exorcist) is starring in another possession horror movie titled The Exorcism, and the official poster has arrived today.
Additionally, we’ve learned that the trailer for The Exorcism arrives online tomorrow.
“They were making a cursed movie. They were warned not to,” Vertical’s official poster for The Exorcism states, teasing the meta storyline. “They should have listened.”
Vertical has picked up the North American rights to The Exorcism, which they’ll be bringing to theaters on June 7. Shudder is also on board to bring the film home later this year.
The film had previously been announced under the title The Georgetown Project.
“The Exorcism follows Anthony Miller (Crowe), a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter (Ryan Simpkins) wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play.”
Sam Worthington (Avatar: The Way of Water), Chloe Bailey (Praise This), Adam Goldberg (The Equalizer) and David Hyde Pierce (Frasier) also star.
Joshua John Miller, who wrote 2015’s The Final Girls and also starred in films including Near Dark and And You Thought Your Parents Were Weird, directed The Exorcism.
Joshua John Miller also wrote the script with M.A. Fortin (The Final Girls).
Of particular note, Kevin Williamson (Scream, Sick) produced The Exorcism.
