Saints Row 2 and 3

Post by CitizenKaneHodder » Tue Apr 18, 2017 7:56 pm

My favorite games of all time, have played through both multiple times. They don't get lots of love but I don't see how more people aren't into them, especially with the online co-op mode which is very fun.

I have the 3rd and had a blast with it. I've been thinking about revisiting it. I just haven't been into gaming much lately.

The fourth one got beyond ridiculous which is really saying something for the series. If you haven't played 2 that's a great one.

SR3 was easily the best, and filled the void until GTA stopped fucking around and gave us a proper balls out sequel with GTA V.

Never got the hype for SR2 though. SR4 was alright, but it was like playing with cheat codes the entire way through. No sense of progression, as giving the player superhero powers pretty much right from the start, really made a lot of the game play elements pointless. I felt kind of sorry for the people who had to program all driving elements into the game, considering there was no point to actually using a vehicle to get around.

Glad to see some other fans here. I always loved the insurance fraud missions. Was really fun to play with a friend co-op online too.

Why make a classification for Adults only, then tell adults they arent allowed to play it?

Not that I really care about Saints Row, just the classification board is a fking joke

SR2 was pretty bland and boring, SR3 was pretty good, I think SR4 was my favorite due to it being so over the top, set itself apart from one her games. Solid franchise though.
