Vin Diesel Shows Us ‘Riddick’! Again! Neat!
Vin Diesel has taken to Facebook again for another update on Riddick. Personally, I’m sure you guys would like to see some pics that give us a sense of scope on the project. Not just picture after picture of the character. But I could be wrong.
Per the thesp, “First time I posted about Riddick was back in 2009, Facebook was fresh… They were asking me to come to the headquarters to talk about this new concept of communicating with fans. I was proud to lead that wave, yet all I was doing, was opening up about my passion – film. So this picture of our 2012 production of ‘Riddick, is a cool victory for all of us… it shows that studios can be influenced by your voice.”
Katee Sackoff, Jordi Molla and Nolan Funk all star in the second sequel to Pitch Black that’s in production under the command of franchise director David Twohy.
“Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. Just two months after his daughter Ishana Night Shyamalan debuts on the big screen with horror movie The Watchers, M. Night Shyamalan is back with his new thriller Trap.
M. Night Shyamalan’s new thriller for Warner Bros. – the sixteenth movie in his Oscar-nominated career thus far – is headed to movie theaters nationwide on August 9, 2024.

In the upcoming thriller starring Josh Hartnett, “A father and teen daughter attend a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event.”
As the official trailer for Trap reveals, the pop concert is actually an elaborate trap designed to catch The Butcher, a sadistic serial killer who has been evading authorities.
Hartnett had recently described the mysterious film as “very bizarre” and “very dark.”
According to IMDb, the cast for Trap also includes Hayley Mills, Marnie McPhail, Vanessa Smythe, Saleka Shyamalan, Scott Ian MacDougall, Kristi Woods, and Cali Lorella.
Trap is the first film Shyamalan has made under his new deal with Warner Bros., which has been described as a “multi-year first-look directing and producing agreement.”
The film is produced by Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock and M. Night Shyamalan.
The executive producer is Steven Schneider.
