In addition to the two clips posted earlier this week, below you will find a batch of new stills from Overture Films’ The Crazies, their redo of George A. Romero’s classic pic that revolves around the inhabitants of a small Kansas town who are beset by death and insanity after a plane crash lets loose a secret biological weapon into the water supply. One of the images is pretty cool as it features a look at the government wearing their iconic quarantine outfits. Get infected on February 26.

Now complete anarchy reigns as one by one the townsfolk succumb to an unknown toxin and turn sadistically violent. In an effort to keep the madness contained, the government uses deadly force to close off all access and won’t let anyone in or out – even those uninfected. The few still sane find themselves trapped: Sheriff Dutten; his pregnant wife, Judy (Radha Mitchell); Becca (Danielle Panabaker), an assistant at the medical center; and Russell (Joe Anderson), Dutten’s deputy and right-hand man.
