Ben Stiller in Talks (with a Cat and Dog?) for ‘The Voices’

Published

on

It was revealed last night that writer Michael R. Perry’s spec feature script, The Voices, would be produced by Doug Davison and Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment (Quarantine, The Uninvited, The Ring, The Grudge) with Mark Romanek (One Hour Photo) developing. The boys over at /Film posted a rumor that we have confirmed as 100% factual. “According to my information, Ben Stiller is up for the lead role of Jerry,” writes the site. Here’s the role: Jerry, a schizophrenic worker at a bathtub factory, accidentally kills an attractive woman from accounting. While trying to cover his bloody tracks, Jerry starts taking advice from his talking (and foul-mouthed) cat and dog. And yes, this once again gives me an excuse to use the I can had cheezburger? image. Life is good! Michael R. Perry is penning the Paranormal Activity sequel.
